Currently based in Montreal, Pata Macedo is a graphic designer and educator originally from Brazil. Since 2001, she has been running her own design studio where her practice has focused on developing a variety of graphic design projects in the cultural and educational sectors. Her clients include museums, not-for-profit arts organizations, academic research institutes, and independent artists. Since 2003, she has been teaching design fundamentals, book design and typography in the Design and Computation Arts Department as a member of Concordia University’s part-time faculty.

FR Brésilienne d’origine, Pata Macedo est graphiste et enseignante. Elle habite présentement à Montréal où elle a son propre atelier de design graphique depuis 2001. Ses projets se concentrent principalement dans les secteurs culturels et pédagogiques, et ses clients incluent des musées, des organismes artistiques à but non lucratif, des instituts académiques de recherche ainsi que des artistes indépendants. Depuis 2003, elle est chargée de cours au département de Design and Computation Arts de l’Université Concordia où elle enseigne les concepts de base des arts graphiques, le design des livres et la typographie.
